Results: It was obtained that the predominant clinical manifestations were in the study group: otalgia and otorrhea in 87.5 %, and the presence of granulomas of the external auditory canal 95.8 % and in the control group: otalgia (83.3 %), otorrhea (87.5 %) and granulomas (91.7 %). Finally, in the clinical state at discharge, it was observed that 87.5 % of the patients in the group treated with oleozon were cured at medical discharge, and 79.2 % of the control group with traditional treatment.
Conclusions: Satisfactory results such as early healing and reduction of hospital stay were presented in most of the patients in the study group, so oleozon could be recommended as an additional topical treatment in patients with diabetic malignant otitis.
