Abstract

Introduction: Kaposi's Sarcoma is a tumor that is frequently related to Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome and although it mainly affects the skin, it can occur in other organs such as the Nose, Mouth, Gums, Oropharynx and Larynx, in form of red-wine-purple lesions with well-defined clinical manifestations.

Objective: Describe the otorhinolaryngological symptoms and signs in a patient with Kaposi's Sarcoma. Clinical case. A 29-year-old white male.

Clinical case:. A 29-year-old white male patient who presented pharyngo-laryngeal manifestations and skin lesions at the level of the nasal lobe, as well as intense vinous red lesions located on the anterior pillars, soft palate, hard palate, and posterior wall. pharyngeal and lingual aspect of epiglottis.

Conclusion: Currently, thanks to advances in pharmacology, Human immunodeficiency virus positive patients with Kaposi's Sarcoma have a better prognosis, extracutaneous manifestations reflect a torpid evolution of this disease, which makes the prognosis of these cases guarded.
